Sighthound Tales Enters Production
Hello everyone, and welcome back!
As you know from my last post, I shared the new material chosen for the Sighthound Tales project: Ecovero. Today I'm thrilled to announce that production of our first sample batch has finally begun!
These past days I’ve checked the color rendering on the fabric, and the results surprised me: I never imagined they could be so intense and harmonious. After some fine adjustments, everything is ready to move forward.
Watching the first pieces take shape has been truly moving—from paper to fabric, from sketch to color, each step transforms into something tangible. It's like witnessing a birth, where every detail finally finds its place.
Quality over Quantity, Sustainability over Speed
In a world that prioritizes quantity over quality, I've chosen to flip the script. Small steps that will make a profound difference—steps our planet will thank us for.
Choosing to slow down doesn't mean stopping; it means honoring every stage of creation. I don't want products that wear out quickly. I want pieces with stories to tell, accessories that endure and accompany their wearers through life.
My production follows demand-based manufacturing. With a defined number of orders, I can focus entirely on the quality I offer. This means achieving exceptional quality and meticulous craftsmanship requires a six-week wait.
Time that, honestly, isn't so long considering the work behind it. It's the right rhythm for careful creation—respecting artisan traditions and environmental needs. After all, anticipating something we truly desire makes us appreciate the final result even more.
An Wait Worth Every Moment
I know six weeks might feel eternal to many of you—we're conditioned to want everything instantly. But I promise the wait is worthwhile.
When we decided to adopt Terence, we waited two months for his arrival from Spain to Italy. I remember that wait feeling endless… yet the moment he entered our home and became family, we realized every day of waiting had been precious and necessary.
Of course, Terence's arrival isn't comparable to waiting for a foulard—obviously. But that experience taught me waiting doesn't mean losing time: it means valuing the outcome, living each phase with awareness, and truly appreciating what we receive.

Sighthound Tales entra in produzione
Ciao a tutti e bentornati! Come sapete dal mio ultimo post, ho condiviso il nuovo materiale scelto per il progetto Sighthound Tales: Ecovero. Oggi sono entusiasta di annunciare che la produzione del nostro primo lotto campione è finalmente iniziata!
Negli ultimi giorni ho testato la resa dei colori sul tessuto e i risultati mi hanno sorpreso: non avrei mai immaginato che potessero essere così intensi e armoniosi. Dopo alcune piccole modifiche, è tutto pronto per andare avanti.
Vedere i primi pezzi prendere forma è stato davvero emozionante: dalla carta al tessuto, dallo schizzo al colore, ogni fase si trasforma in qualcosa di tangibile. È come assistere a una nascita, dove ogni dettaglio trova finalmente il suo posto.
Qualità anziché quantità, sostenibilità anziché velocità
In un mondo che privilegia la quantità alla qualità, ho scelto di ribaltare la situazione. Piccoli passi che faranno una grande differenza, passi per cui il nostro pianeta ci ringrazierà.
Scegliere di rallentare non significa fermarsi, ma onorare ogni fase della creazione. Non voglio prodotti che si consumano rapidamente. Voglio oggetti che abbiano una storia da raccontare, accessori che durino nel tempo e accompagnino chi li indossa per tutta la vita.
La mia produzione segue un modello basato sulla domanda. Con un numero definito di ordini, posso concentrarmi interamente sulla qualità che offro. Ciò significa che per ottenere una qualità eccezionale e una lavorazione meticolosa è necessario attendere sei settimane.
Un tempo che, onestamente, non è poi così lungo considerando il lavoro che c'è dietro. È il ritmo giusto per una creazione accurata, nel rispetto delle tradizioni artigianali e delle esigenze ambientali. Dopotutto, anticipare qualcosa che desideriamo veramente ci fa apprezzare ancora di più il risultato finale.
Un'attesa che vale ogni singolo momento
So che sei settimane possono sembrare un'eternità a molti di voi: siamo abituati a volere tutto e subito. Ma vi assicuro che l'attesa vale la pena.
Quando abbiamo deciso di adottare Terence, abbiamo aspettato due mesi il suo arrivo dalla Spagna in Italia. Ricordo che quell'attesa mi sembrava infinita... eppure, nel momento in cui è entrato nella nostra casa ed è diventato parte della nostra famiglia, abbiamo capito che ogni giorno di attesa era stato prezioso e necessario.
Ovviamente, l'arrivo di Terence non è paragonabile all'attesa di un foulard, questo è chiaro. Ma quell'esperienza mi ha insegnato che aspettare non significa perdere tempo: significa dare valore al risultato, vivere ogni fase con consapevolezza e apprezzare veramente ciò che riceviamo.
Costruire qualcosa di bello richiede tempo
Questo è il cuore di Sighthound Tales: trasformare l'amore per questi cani straordinari in accessori che raccontano le loro storie e allo stesso tempo sostengono il loro salvataggio.
Ogni motivo riflette la loro eleganza. Ogni acquisto sostiene la loro causa. Ogni pezzo onora il legame tra l'uomo e il levriero.
